THE ISSUE

Translating the church to a changed world is an emergency. I am deeply concerned over the future of the church. Does today's church have the ability, passion and tools to effectively work in the Great Commission? Truthfully, with Christianity plummeting, younger generations finding that God has no relevance in their lives and a growing church malaise, many have doubts.

The statistics for declining and failing churches is alarming. With 80% of all churches in the U. S. in decline, it is time for urgency and action. Translating the church to a 21st century community is a must. Solutions are available but how do we galvanize a religious community steeped in 1970's traditions to take the necessary risks to transform the church in a radically changed world.
